Well I bought a Clarion NZ500 Headunit for my truck a few months back and I recently found out there was a update. Applying the update was strait forward and easy to follow. However to access the update menu you need to go to parental password screen and type in 200802 which unlocks the update menus.
Well last night I was having problem with my Ipod not playing video. I could here hear the music but no picture. I figured it out as being the latest jailbreak broke the video out so I did a restore and everything works great.
But now the cool part. I notice that while still in the menu when you enter the code is just the standard setting menu's. After entering the code, under audio it had new features as well. You are able to adjust the gain for all functions the headunit does.
I noticed right after having it install that the Ipod sounded very low in comparison too the tuner or dvd. But now with that hidden menu I was able to turn the gain from 1 to 7 and now the Ipod matches the rest.
